Meeting the maker

Claiming creation

We have found a few characteristics of the maker, he is big, wise and with a lot of knowledge. Who has those characteristics?

Those qualities point to God, whom we know from history. But is that scientific?

Our logic proves that everything around us and in our body has a purpose, which means that the maker follows logic and is wise with his actions. So it would be very illogical if the maker has no purpose for us. He, as a sensible one, must approach us, introduce himself, say who He is, why He made us and what He wants from us. Given the logic that He follows in all His deeds, there is no doubt that the maker will take such a step.

There were several people in history who claimed to be messengers of the Creator of the universe. Every civilization and group of people have a name for that Creator in their own language. The presence of the maker's name among all people proves that the maker has introduced himself to all people.

God is the only one who has claimed the creation. We can’t shift the honour of creation to someone, for example nature, who has never approached us.

Claiming that someone is the maker is actually still insufficient. The maker must also give us clear evidence. He must show us that He is the maker and that He does have the qualities that we have found.

We must see the proof ourselves. Only then does our search meet our scientific and logical working methods.

The miracles of the prophets

According to the "holy" books, God has given evidence to every prophet. The evidence was always extraordinary deeds (miracles). Every civilization had broad knowledge in a certain direction, and most miracles were in the same direction of their broad knowledge. God brought a kind of challenge in the knowledge that people were good at.

Moses' stick, for example, and what he did with it were his miracles. The people who saw those acts then were sure that those acts were not magic. That was proof that Moses was sent by God. Healing the sick and resurrecting the dead were some of the miracles of Jesus. Those miracles were medical proof of God.

We are not going to discuss now whether those miracles actually happened or not. All miracles were intended exclusively for the people who saw them. We and the people of today haven’t seen any of those miracles. If God is our maker, He must also give us (the people of today) proof. That proof should then be scientific proof, because people nowadays have a very broad scientific knowledge.

The messengers of God

There were many prophets and messengers of God in history. We have not met any of them and we have seen no evidence. The only thing we have now is "their" books. Below we will only discuss the Torah, Gospel and Quran.

There are various contradictions in the Torah and Gospel. Any contradiction is actually illogical. Jews and Christians accept those contradictions. They say that faith may be illogical. We think that the creator of the universe and the perfect living creatures could certainly have written a book without contradictions. The Torah says that God has wrestled with a man, and the Bible says that God was killed and crucified. Both can’t be logical, because the person who created the universe was no human. In addition, everyone knows that the construction of genes of all people is the same, so the concept of "chosen people" is unfounded and therefore unacceptable. And the principle of punishing a good person instead of those who sin is unjust and also unacceptable.

According to the Muslims, Muhammad is the last messenger of God. They say he had performed many miracles and his greatest miracle was the Koran (a book). The Arabs were then very good and proud of their language (Standard Arabic). The Koran is in Arabic. The wording of the sentences is beautiful and also contains beautiful meanings and accurate descriptions. When Mohammed came with this book, he said that this book is not from him but from God. What is remarkable is that he has not taken the honour of the Quran to himself.

The challenge then was as follows: "And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant (Muhammad), then produce an equivalent Surah (chapter),". Translation of Quran 2:23.Mohammed was an illiterate and yet no one could say or write an equivalent wording. The Quran has been around for more than 1400 years and yet there is only one version of it. It is incomprehensible how the Qur'an has remained the same over this long period and throughout the world. That proves that the Koran has remained unchanged.

Scientific proof that God is our maker

The Quran says: “Say: What did you think: if (this Quran) comes from Allah (God), and you then reject it; who else has strayed that who is in deep doubt? We will show them Our signs, on the horizons and in themselves, until it will be clear to them that he (the Quran) is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a witness of all matters? " Translation Quran 41:52 and 53

In this verse of the Quran, God promises to show us clear signs!

The Quran is not a scientific book, but God talks in the Quran about His favours, about what He has done for people and about what He has created in the universe. He has done this in a very simple language and yet He gave accurate descriptions of scientific phenomena that will be discovered later; some have only been discovered in recent years.

Scientists say that not only Mohammed but all people, 1400 years ago, had no possibility of knowing these scientific phenomena. Only the maker could at that time give such a description of those phenomena in the Koran. These are the signs (proofs / miracles) for us and our civilization, to proof that Allah (God) is our maker and that the Quran is His word.

Examples of the scientific knowledge of the Quran

The Koran describes many scientific facts. A few examples are explained below with few words with links to scientific sites. Only scientific facts and true knowledge are presented here. Theories are not facts. They can be wrong and can be corrected later.

  • “Does man think that We will never assemble his bones? Certainly, We are able to (even) perfect his fingertips. " Translation of Quran 75: 3 and 4

It is now known that the fingerprints of every person are different from those of other people. It was then, 1400 years ago, unclear why God specifically talks about the fingertips. God actually says that He will raise every human being with his own finger tips, actually his own fingerprints.

  •  “Or (the condition of the unbeliever) as the dark ones in the deep sea, covered by waves, above which waves, above which there are clouds: darkness’s on top of each other. When someone extends his hand he can hardly see it. And to whom Allah does not give light: for him there is no light ”. Translation of Quran 24:40

In this verse, God indicates that in the depth of a deep sea there are "internal waves" below the "ordinary" waves. These internal waves are more than a hundred meters lower than the sea level and could only be discovered with the satellites. See links A and B

  • “When the sky is split, it is rose-red, like a painted skin (coloured paint). Which favours of your Lord will you then deny? " Translation of Quran 55:37 and 38

How can the sky be red like a rose! Or coloured as paint! These descriptions of heaven can be seen better at NASA; see C and D .

We have to make clear here, that those photos from NASA are not always 100% correctly coloured. They use different filters for the different light wavelengths (colours). The first photo only consists of red, with three wavelengths. Blue and green are linked to two red filters to make the difference between the different light wavelengths visible. See the explanation here C*.

  • “And We have built heaven with great power. And verily, We are expanding (him) ”. Translation Quran 51:47

The major developments in technology and astronomy only made discovering this fact (the expansion of the universe) possible in the 20th century. NASA can now measure the speed of sky expansion. See E and F.

  •  “Certainly, We have sent Our messengers with clear proof, and We have sent down with them the book and the law, that man should act righteously. And We have sent down the iron in which there is great power and benefits for mankind, that Allah might let him know who supports Him and His messengers, without being able to perceive (eg Allah and Paradise). Verily Allah is strong, Great ”. Translation Quran 57:25

The iron and other heavy metals can’t be formed on the earth. They need high pressure and a lot of energy. These metals are formed in large stars and dispersed in the universe by an explosion. That was only known in the last century. See G and H. The iron has come down on the earth during a later phase, just as Allah (God) says in the Quran. See I and J.

No one but the creator could at that time discover those facts. Our requirement was that we must see the scientific evidence ourselves. With the given scientific information, God has done so in a clear logical way.

More scientific facts have been accurately mentioned in the Koran.

The purpose of our existence

In the above we have seen evidence that God is our maker and the creator of the universe. They also prove that the Koran is the word of God. The Koran is the only holy book that meets our current scientific and logical criteria. We, happiness seekers, are going to look at the plans of God in the Koran.

According to the Quran, the purpose of our life on earth is to be tested: "The one (God) Who created death and life to test you (and show) which of you is doing the best deeds." Translation Quran 67: 2 In addition to believing in God, the actions must be good to be successful in that test. Believing alone is not enough.

On Judgment Day, God will reward the good with paradise and punish the bad with hell: “And We will set up reliable scales on the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul will be harmed. And although it is about the weight of a mustard seed; We will bring it (forward). And We are sufficient as calculators. " Translation Quran 21:47 That is why we must be good people, good for parents, good for acquaintances, good for everyone, good for animals, good for the environment, good for the whole earth and good for God.

“He who has done good works is for himself; and whoever does evil works is responsible for himself. And your Lord is not unjust towards the servants". Such is the righteousness of God, the Merciful.

In this life it is sometimes impossible that everyone gets their rights. That is why Judgment Day is very important to perform absolute justice. “Say: To whom belongs what is in heaven and on earth? Say: To Allah. He has taken it upon himself to show mercy. He will surely gather you together on the Day of Resurrection, there is no doubt about it. Those who have lost themselves are the ones who do not believe”. Translation of Quran 6:12

Nice words and bad deeds

Do you remember what the big obstacle is? Despite the evidence that has been shown, we always have our fears and bad experiences. We once formed a bad image about religion, about believers and specifically about Islam. Or we have had a bad experience and we have generalized it. Some of us think: "Believers don't use their logic, they might be stupid or just abusers of the fine words." There is a barrier between God and many people because of, among other things, the actions of bad people in the name of God.

Here we must realize that Muslims are no different than the other people. Some follow their own interests and forget what Islam means. That is their fault and not the fault of Islam. Therefore, God ("Allah" is the Arabic name of the only true God) will judge us all based on our actions. The Muslims have no special position and receive no special treatment.

The Quran is a good book but is poorly presented by Muslims.

Happiness and success

God promises in the Quran: "He who does good, male or female, and believes; surely We give him a good life, and We will certainly reward them with their reward, according to the best of what they used to do." Translation Quran 16:97

These are two important promises. The first is a good life on earth and the second is the paradise in heaven. But how does life become good/happy?

We have said that in order to live happily, there must be room for enjoyment, being appreciated and being fear free. In addition, the difficulties, such as: illness, pain, unsafe life, injustice, problems, poverty, loneliness, losing loved ones, etc., must be accepted in a positive way. As a happy person, we must not lose hope.

How is that possible?

Imagine that after a long study, there is an important final exam. Normal questions were expected, but this time the questions were very difficult. The answers are well-known but difficult. They cost a lot of energy and concentration to be writing down within the specified time.

Chaos breaks out in the exam room, a student putted down the pen and left the room. Another was angry with the teacher. He scolded him, tore up the questions paper and threw it in the trash. He kept screaming and swearing. A third has left his place and tried in vain to calm the angry student. A fourth student has drawn something beautiful on his notebook. Yes, he can draw well and has real talent, but what he does doesn’t fit the questions. A fifth tried to steal pens and other items. There was one more who, despite the noise, remained focused on his papers. His sweat dripped onto the table and his fingers hurt from writing. He has accurately put the long and difficult answers of the questions on paper. He handed in the notebook just before the end of time. The teacher thanked him with a beautiful smile.

Which student do you think has accepted the difficult exam positively? Who has not lost hope? Who has behaved smartly and rationally? Who strives for happiness and has not forgotten his purpose? And finally who is going to live happily?

Yes, happiness does exist in spite of the difficulties, but under one condition, namely, that you always and until the moment of leaving this life, stay focused on the goal of your existence. You know for sure that there is still life after the exam period, outside the room.

God says in the Quran that this life is a test and there will be eternal life in paradise for the believers with the good deeds.

If you believe in God and in the Day of Judgment and do good deeds, you will experience the effect of the difficulties as smaller than others. Your longing for eternal life and your longing for the mercy of God are great. They overcome the difficulties in this short life. Every loss in this life is less important to you, because you will get better later. Saying goodbye to a dying loved one remains more difficult than saying goodbye when seeing off a traveller. But you know that you will see each other again in paradise and that gives you inner peace.

Unattainable goal

All goals in this life are achievable. After a period from achieving a great goal, one feels as if life is meaningless. The tension is gone. One then searches for a new "kick". People start looking for the feeling of satisfaction again. After reaching the big goal some people feel empty. Trying to be nearer to God is the goal that most people miss. The relationship with the Wise, who created the world, is a beautiful relationship and gives a special feeling. The love between the weak person and the mighty God is a value that can’t be compared with money or other things. If you know how many beautiful things and favours God has already given you personally, you will no longer seek people's attention.

That is a need of your spirit, that many people miss or don't even know.

The Islam

Islam is the belief that respects people, as someone with logic, knowledge, body and spirit. In Islam, the needs are distributed in a balanced way. Islam is not what you see and hear in the media. Real Islam is not what the "normal" Muslims do. You can study Islam through the right sources.

Islam is not the religion of the sword, because faith must spring from the heart and no one may force anyone else to become a Muslim. "There is no compulsion in religion". Translation Quran 2:256

Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last messenger of God, and was not a bad person. “Certainly there is a message here for people who serve God. And We have sent you (Muhammad) only as grace for the worlds. " Translation of Quran 21: 106 and 107

In Islam there is no difference between people based on colour, race and gender. "O mankind, We have created you from a man and a woman and We have made you into nations and tribes so that you may get to know each other. Surely the most noble of you is the one who fears the most (Allah) God ”. Translation Quran 49:13

The logical and scientific evidence confirms that Islam is the true religion. "Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My favour to you and have chosen Islam as your religion." Translation of Quran 5: 3

That is why no other religion will be accepted. "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and he is one of the losers in the Hereafter." Translation of Quran 3:85

God has given us logic and minds, and He expects us to use them well. He has given us signs to prove that He is our maker and to clarify the purpose of our creation.
